FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: I want to be a member of CCVU. Is this free, or I must pay for a membership?
A: CCVU is a part of ISA which is a non-profit Association. We managed CCVU to have so far no expenses as the existing expenses are covered by ISA's sponsors (mainly by the company Kingston Int. Group and the Further Eductation School named ISO-SEC).
So, the answer is no. The only membership CCVU provides, it is 100% free and it lasts for a lifetime.

Q: If I request support from CCVU, I must pay for it?
A: CCVU does not have income from anyone. But many times has expenses. These expenses are covered by donations of sponsors of ISA.
By this we mean that ISA and its wings does NOT target financial profit, but the social contribution. However, in some cases, when needed hard work from our side, the team who must work, somehow must get paid, but you will not pay CCVU (ISA). You must pay directly to the company who will provide the work. Our part is to suggest you what to do. If you want us to suggest you a company, in most of the cases we can do so, but the decision is yours.
In CCVU we can provide you free consulting, but if you need us to make a work for your case, then this is impossible, as we don`t have the funds to do so. We hope, one day, CCVU to be a Governmental Authority and to provide the services people need, by using tax money.
With few words, the answer is no. You will not receive any bill from CCVU. And if you receive, this means that is a scammer who tries to steal your money. CCVU will NEVER ask you to pay anything!

Q: I see how dangerous place is the internet. How can I help to reduce the number of victims? How can I help CCVU?
A: Please do so. We DON'T want your money, but we need your time more than anything else. We need people to talk with the victims. We need to make victims to take the right decisions, as for example to contact law enforcement, or to meet a psychologist. But in order to make them do the right thing, we need people who will learn from us how to recognise easily a scam and any other illegal activity against cybercrime victims or future victims. WE NEED YOU!

Q: Can I make a donation to CCVU?
A: No. Especially in CCVU we don't accept any donation, from anyone. ISA accepts donations, but ONLY from selected companies (ISA sponsors). Not from the public. Is this totally clear? We hope yes.
WELCOME TO THE ONLY NON-GOVERNMENTAL PLACE THAT EXISTS ONLY TO HELP.

Q: I believe that probably/definitely I'm a victim of cybercrime. How I can proceed and register myself as a member?
A: In order to provide you consulting, we need you to make a membership. It's not necessary to give us your real name, but you need to give us a real email. If you believe that your email is intercepted by a criminal, please go online and make a new email in Google (Gmail), or in AOL, etc., to use it only for CCVU. In order our help to be effective, please be sure that the criminals will not read our communication.

Q: How can I be a part of CCVU and help people?
A: You must be a registered member of ISA. This membership it is completely free and forever. For this, you must provide us all your real details. We will need your passport, a bill in your name as a proof of address, a photo passport type, your resume, a motivation letter and in this letter you must explain us how you wish to help, how many hours per month and how. For example, we have psychologists who lecturing to victims and to children, we have housewives who replying in emails, we have police detectives, inspectors and commissioners (active and retired) and lawyers, who directing the victims what to do, we have IT experts who are helping people to understand what to do, or what to not do, in order to be safe.
Also, if you are very close to a victim and you want to help the specific victim, be one of us. You will help the person you care and for sure, you will help other people who needs your support to keep going in life.
So, if you are a specialist, or a next-door person, your help is extremely valuable.

Q: So, now it's clear. CCVU do nothing more than to "fish clients" for Kingston. Is that correct?
A: Of course not. CCVU provides social work to every next-door person. But there are complicated cases (in example, organized cyberbullying to companies or to famous people, by criminals, by competitors, or even by ..."journalists" and bloggers) that in order to clean the name or someone and keep it clean, you need countless hours of work.
