Is your WhatsApp safe?

How can you be hacked very easily?

Let’s say a scumbag (not a hacker, as most of the hackers have academic education. These are just next door criminals), wants to undertake the control of your WhatsApp.
Is it hard?
Very hard,  or VERY EASY. Depends on you.
WhatsApp is a secure App, but you can bypass the protection WhatsApp offers you, easily.

In order you to be able to understand, how the scumbag to undertake the administration and complete control of your WhatsApp, we will simulate what the criminal will do. Like this, you will understand what to NOT do.

Steps:
1. The criminal will downloads WhatsApp to a new to him (most of the times stolen) mobile.

2. The criminal will install WhatsApp in this mobile and will initiate the registration procedure, but instead to put his (sorry men, but 99% of the this tzpe of scammers are men) telephone number, he will write your number.
Then WhatsApp will send to YOUR mobile phone an SMS text message with a verification code.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU RECEIVE A VERIFICATION CODE WITHOUT YOU TO ASK FOR ONE???
JUST DELETE IT AT ONCE, WITHOUT TO SEE EVEN THE NUMBER.

3. Then the criminal he will contact you and pretend he is from (in example) WhatsApp, or from your Bank, or from your work, School, or even from the pastor of your church and he will ask you about the code.
Also, he can contact you even before you receive the message, to prepare the ground.
THE ONE WHO WILL CONTACT YOU, IS THE ONE WHO WANTS TO HACK YOUR WHATSAPP.

BE SMARTER THAN THIS CRIMINAL!!

IF you provide the code you received to him, ….SAY BYE BYE not only to your WhatsApp account, but also to your friends (as he will start to scam them and all your friends will believe it’s you the scumbag).

IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU CARE MAKE THE MISTAKE AND GAVE THE CODE, THEN...

Delete and reinstall WhatsApp in our mobile. WhatsApp will send you the code, use it and if you manage to login, then go to security features, find and “logout from all other devices” and add also a 2-steps verification, and add a password (not the year of your birth, or 1111, or 4444 etc., but something you can remember and it isn't easy to guess or to find out from your social media details you share).

If you aren't able to login is because the criminal will spam all your friends with countless messages, and WhatsApp will block your account. If you aren’t able to login, wait until the time it pass, and login again.

And all this because ...

YOU GAVE THE VERIFICATION CODE TO SOMEONE YOU BELIEVE YOU KNOW.

DO NOT GIVE VERIFICATION CODES EVEN TO YOUR FAMILY, AS MAYBE THEY ARE ALSO HACKED FEW MINUTES BEFORE THEY ASKED IT FROM YOU, AND IS THE CRIMINAL WHO ASKS IT FROM YOU.
